Congratulations Prof Clifford

We are delighted that long-standing Member Emeritus Prof Trevor Clifford was honoured in the June 2016 Queen’s Birthday lists with a Medal in the Order of Australia, “For service to botany and to tertiary education”.

Council resolved in December to invest Prof Clifford with Honorary Life Membership. Investiture is proposed to be conducted at the Celebrate Science dinner proposed for March next year.

We join with Prof Clifford’s colleagues, family and friends in congratulating him on this well-deserved official recognition of his career.
