Please find attached Newsletter Number 13 (<1MB), some 9 pages of information about the activities of fellow members and other items of interest to the science community.

The Annual Report for the year ended 31 October 2021 is also now available. Please note that this raw version has not been typeset and the photograph of our 2020 Proceedings taken at Government House has not been embedded. The formatted version will be available in the annual 2021 Proceedings in due course.

There is much of direct interest to members in the October Newsletter, notably:

• the forthcoming Annual General Meeting and call for nominations
• the forthcoming discussion forum on carbon marketing and the Land Restoration Fund
• the publication of the first batch of articles for Proceedings 129
• the Annual Report in its raw form
• a report of the previous discussion forum (21 October) on quality assurance in science
• notices of forthcoming events by others;
