It’s been some five years since there was a meeting of the Queensland Science Network. The Society feel that it’s time that we met to develop a new work program, discuss the social media landscape, and seek advice on how we can improve the profile. Also to network with like-minded scientists and naturalists.

New species, new genus, new peak achievement for Dr Geoff Monteith

Dr. Geoff Monteith with two co-authors has published a new taxonomic paper describing a species of endemic bug restricted to endemic palm trees from Norfolk Island. The paper is open access and can be downloaded freely from the doi address https://doi.org/10.1071/IS23040 .
